You might enjoy Islands of Insight. Nothing but puzzles. No combat, no competition to speak of. Just floating islands full of puzzles to solve. Or if you like your puzzles to include some backstory and philosophical musings about the human condition, you might enjoy The TALOS Principle. If you enjoy designing small homesteads or towns with buildings, gardens, flowers, ponds, roads etc, that is only building from an isometric top down view, I would suggest Tiny Glade. If none of those appeal at least you still have books lol.

Enjoying it a TON. And the writing and story are so SOO much better than other recent offerings *cough* *veilguard* *cough*. I am hoping dialog choices do affect outcomes, cause that would be amazing. I’ve heard that Avowed fails in that respect but is otherwise decent, and I’m planning to play it when I finish with Eternal Strands. BTW both games are offered on XBOX gamepass for PC. So if you have a subscription you can play for free.

Skyrim, and World of Warcraft, flew by me, too busy day and night while the family played. Retired now, and this sounds just like what what I’d love to get back to. I began gaming decades ago with Final Fantasy. Still love #7, though “Rosa” echos in my mind.

oooooh – hopefully not willy nilly – where you go SPLAT. (^o^)

I think part of my issue with playing game is lack of control using keys or whatever. I did okay with Wii because it was basically movement and I didn’t have to remember – this/that key button lever

I think I am too lazy – prefer reading – and do not want to have to work at more stuff. However, there are some games that I enjoy watching – like I would want to explore, look around, maybe collect some interesting rocks and feathers. But, I don’t want to blast anything or be blasted. Not to say I do not have rage just not interested. I am more of word, card, find, puzzle kind of game person or real pinball machines.

I would love this kind of fantasy (maybe yeet some rocks through a hoop?) but be able to just meander around without having to worry about getting attacked since you can’t walk around IRL without being vigilant. Is there something with great graphics that maybe has a puzzle to solve but is not a competition and allows you to wander where you want?

It would be so nice to just have a fantasy land (bringing book worlds to life) to look at with some interesting trees, fauna, magical critters, etc. without having to ‘earn’ your keep or fight to survive. I just want to play and explore – have fun – like when I was a kid. Putter around.

I tried second life many years ago and kind of liked designing clothes in that but I didn’t own a computer that supported the graphics so I only got to try it a couple of times. At least I can access books nearly any time.

It’s really fun, the characters are all special and the overall story and worlddevelopping works well for me. No, it’s not mass effect 2, it’s kinda mass effect 3 with a better end.

I see your dead cow reflexes and raise you an inability to handle a controller. If it can’t be done with mouse and keyboard, count me out.

I have ragequit tutorials and refunded games over that šŸ™ˆšŸ˜…
