I tried playing them at faster speeds but it loses something, so I’m listening at 1.0x.

I haven’t usually picked audiobooks as my medium for consuming books, as I’m too picky about who reads the books, but the full cast and sound effects keep me engaged with the content and only enhance my mental picture of the action. Love revisiting old book friends in this new way. Couldn’t have gotten through the day right now without them!!

But, I love the original audio books with a narrator reading your books. I have bought many on Audible and borrowed some from our local library. I hope these original version continue to be available!
