I kept putting it off bc I keep thinking it may not be as good as the Kate Daniels series but I was wrong. I am a huge fan of this series. This ranks up with there with K Daniels. I like the that protagonist is older which resonated with me. How soon will the next installment be? I can’t wait!

I get it!!! I found the pause option really helpful to start to wean off. I got I think 90 days? You get it once a year, you can still use the credits you have and sales. But you get a break in the charges and no new credits. I’m still terrified to lose my books, but I remind myself that if Amazon changed their mind right now I would lose them anyway. I have already had issues with accessing old books (that I paid for) WHILE paying for my account. And libro fm is a pretty good option for much less predatory practices (and the books are DMR free!). What I really like about it is I don’t have to do a subscription. And the only way we will get Amazon to change is if we stop using it as much.

But I’m in the exact same boat about the books I do have, I’m so overwhelmed by digital stuff like that. I’m also super attached to some authors that do a lot of exclusive to Amazon deals. I’m relieved as heck that the inheritance is only exclusive for 90 days.
